Unter Null, which translates to "Below The Radar", is the new release from German electronic music artists Alien Nature and Christian Fiesel. These fellows have fused the elements of Berlin school electronics with psychedelic rock to create a delightful blend of Kosmische Musik. Driving synth lines, blazing guitars and pulsing beats carry the listener into outer space and back again.

Wolfgang Barkowski was born 1965 in Recklinghausen, Germany, first musical experiences at school aged 11 or 12 (Klaus Schulze, TD, Jarre), goin' into Metal at 16 years old, first synth bought at 21, learning Keyboard Playing, making some Industrial music in a band, than quit going further on as Alien Nature. First release is Hypnosphere with Lambert Ringlage and than Distant Calling on Syngate. Met my wife, got a child (Anna.....theres an Album so called), met Torsten Abel - still making music with him, enter Facebook, met there Mr. Christian Fiesel......and creating Geistertanz.......and the Rest you hold in your Hands.....i have released about 30 Albums in 20 years. The most on Syngate, some Albums without label, three Hypnospheres.....and now Unter Null at Aural Films.

Every sound has its own story. And each story can be completely different. That said, Christian Fiesel is trying to cross all borders of electronic and experimental music. His interest is not about being into a specific genre but to dare anything at least just once. All sources are allowed. So you won't find any impressive list of gear but the will to create atmospheres with a minimum of starting material. Christian wants the listeners to close their eyes and to open their minds to be brought to an unexpected place.
